Senior Modeling Artist

As a Senior Modeling Artist at The Cirqus, you will be responsible for creating high-quality CG characters and environments for feature films, VFX, TV series, ride films or games. Your role will be crucial in contributing to the artistic vision of the projects. As a Senior Modeling Artist, you will be a key member of our team, contributing towards the creation of magic through your skills and passion for the art. **Key Responsibilities:** - Possess a broad skill set to work on characters, props, and environments in various styles - Demonstrate technical proficiency in building models for deformations using tools like blendshapes, deformers, and muscle/skin simulators - Interpret models from both 3D scans and 2D artwork effectively - Model with minimal supervision while being open to feedback and direction - Collaborate with the production team to achieve the desired look for objects - Mentor and assist entry-level modellers to enhance team productivity - Continuously learn and contribute to the success of the team and projects **Qualifications Required:** - Degree in fine arts or equivalent with a strong understanding of anatomy, design, and animation OR 3+ years of industry experience specializing in Modelling - Proven experience in creating characters, props, and environments, preferably in a realistic style - Background in traditional arts focusing on photo-realistic character work and environments is advantageous - Proficiency in Maya/ZBrush and a demo reel showcasing traditional artistic skills - Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure **Additional Details:** - Knowledge of human and animal anatomy, life drawing skills, lookdev, and texturing skills are valuable additions - Ability to proactively escalate technical issues, assist with project clean-up, and archiving If you have the perseverance, hunger for learning, and proactiveness to contribute to a dynamic team, The Cirqus welcomes your application for the Senior Modeling Artist position.,
