This is a full-time on-site role for a Rendering and Lighting Artist located in Surat. As a Rendering and Lighting Artist, you will be responsible for tasks related to lighting, look development, computer graphics, shading, and compositing on a day-to-day basis. You should have at least 5 years of experience as a Rendering, Lighting, or LookDev Artist in games, cinematics, or film. A strong proficiency in Unreal Engine 5+ lighting systems, post-processing, and rendering workflows is required. Experience with Movie Render Queue, Composure Plugin, and render pass management is preferred. An understanding of PBR workflow, Lumen, HDRI setups, and light baking optimization is necessary for this role. You should also have solid compositing knowledge with Nuke, Fusion, or After Effects. Knowledge of ACES, LUTs, tone mapping, and cinematic color grading is a plus. A strong sense of visual storytelling, mood, and camera composition is essential. Additionally, you should have the ability to optimize scenes and troubleshoot performance/debugging tools in Unreal. As a Crowd Artist, you will play a crucial role in developing crowd motion for high-end VFX projects, focusing on simulation for planning and previz purposes. Your primary responsibilities will include creating digital crowd behaviors and simulations to bring to life the envisioned look, movement, and style as directed by the Director and production team. As a Technical Artist, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the art and programming departments within the game development pipeline. Design, build, improve or optimize Pipelines to streamline and support production. Assets optimisation to meet technical requirements while maintaining artistic quality- pushing for top visual quality and performance. Asset integration inside Unity and/or mobile Proprietary game engines. Writing optimized shaders with HLSL/GLSL Connecting various DCCs/tools/systems into cohesive pipelines from content creation through to the game - for art and Animation teams. Prototype, develop, and test tools that will be used by the artists to improve and assist their work in production and streamline the pipelines. Help and spearhead the QA Team on ensuring that assets are 100% bug- free and shippable Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile Be creative and strong in solving technical problems, and comfortable with breaking new ground and developing innovative solutions. Experience with Game Engines, preferably Unity. Strong understanding of DCCs like Maya. Experience with C#, Python, MEL Knowledge of shader programming with HLSL/GLSL. Experience generating lightmaps and baked lighting. Fundamentals of Overall Game Art Production Pipeline that includes Modeling, Lookdev, Rigging, Animation, asset exporting, and process automation workflows.
