Senior Mobile Automation Test Engineer

You should have hands-on experience in Test automation using Java or other programming languages. Additionally, you must have experience in Mobile Automation testing using Appium and Selenium. It is essential to have experience in Test management tools like Qtest, Quality Center, or HPALM, as well as in Defect management tools like JIRA or any similar defect management tool. Moreover, you should possess hands-on experience in API Test/Debugging tools like Postman, Karate, SOAP UI, and Rest Assured. The ideal candidate for this role will have solid experience in mobile test automation and debugging, with a minimum of five years of experience and the ability to identify the root causes of issues. Daily production issues and troubleshooting are part of the responsibilities, so candidates must be proficient in debugging both mobile apps and APIs using tools like Postman. While technologies like Perfecto and Espresso are niche in the market, candidates with a strong foundation in debugging and testing can learn these tools. Effective communication skills are crucial for this role, as the candidate will be required to work across teams and coordinate with various stakeholders. Experience working in larger matrix organizations is preferred, as the role is not in a startup environment.
