Senior MIS Engineer ( Cloud Operation )

Job Summary:

Senior MIS Engineer Cloud Operation

Key Responsibilities:

Analytics & Automation:

• Design, develop, and publish

  daily and weekly Power BI dashboards

  to support operational and management reporting.
• Build and maintain

  Power Automate flows

  and

  Power Apps applications

  to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide advanced

  data analysis and insights

  to support business and IT decision-making.

Cloud Monitoring & Cost Optimization:

• Monitor and analyse

  Azure resources

  , including Virtual Machines, disks, networking, Blob Storage, and Azure NetApp Files (ANF).
• Analyse resource utilization across

  Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and SAP BTP

  , and collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement

  cost optimization opportunities

  .
• Monitor

  Azure cost consumption

  and prepare detailed optimization and forecasting plans.
• Develop and manage

  Azure VM usage strategies

  , including

  Pay-As-You-Go, Reserved Instances, and Savings Plans

  .
• Review and govern

  Azure resource tagging

  (technical contacts, cost centres) and raise correction requests where gaps are identified.

Access, License & Security Governance:

• Perform

  quarterly reviews of Active Directory (AD) groups and service accounts

  , identifying unused access and executing clean-up activities.
• Track

  SAP Secure Login Client access

  on a monthly basis and follow up with managers to revoke unnecessary access.
• Track and manage

  SQL licenses

  , initiate recovery for newly assigned licenses under

  Hybrid Benefit

  , and remove unused licenses from billing.

Audit, Compliance & Risk Management:

• Track

  monthly and quarterly audit activities

  , publish summary reports, and discuss findings and gaps with stakeholders.
• Perform

  quarterly audits

  related to database support and database recovery.
• Own audit findings and drive them to

  closure

  , ensuring corrective actions are implemented and documented.

Service Operations & Stakeholder Support:

• Monitor and manage

  Requests and Incidents in ServiceNow

  , ensuring timely resolution and escalation when required.
• Act as a key point of contact for

  ad-hoc business and IT requests

  , providing accurate information and timely support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to ensure operational excellence and governance compliance.
• Take

  end-to-end ownership

  of issues, findings, and action items, driving them to successful resolution.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in

  Power BI development

  and the

  Microsoft Power Platform

  (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• 5+ years of experience in

  advanced Microsoft Excel

  , including macros, automation, and complex data analysis.
• Working knowledge of

  SAP

  , including SAP ECC, SAP BTP and security/access concepts.
• Strong understanding of

  Azure fundamentals

  , including VMs, storage, networking, cost management, and governance.
• Hands-on experience with

  ServiceNow

  ,

  Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)

  , and

  AWS

  .
• Proven experience in

  process review, gap analysis, and continuous improvement

  .
• Excellent

  verbal and written communication skills

  , with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in

  IT Infrastructure Support analysis (ERP System)

  .
• Exposure to

  IT audits, compliance frameworks, and license management

  .
• Prior experience in a

  Lead or Senior Analyst role

  supporting managers and business leadership.
