Senior Mining Engineer

As an Equipment Quality Inspector, your primary role will involve conducting routine inspection of mining equipment such as crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps, and heavy earth-moving machinery to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: - Check and verify mechanical materials including plates, pipes, liners, bearings, shafts, and welding consumables in accordance with approved specifications and MTCs. - Monitor the installation, alignment, and assembly of mechanical systems in mining plants such as crusher houses, material handling systems, and processing units. - Inspect welding joints, fit-ups, and fabrication work as per WPS, PQR, and relevant mining standards. - Verify preventive and predictive maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and ensure proper documentation. - Ensure all mechanical works comply with DGMS norms, mine safety standards, and company QA/QC procedures. - Participate in mechanical equipment performance testing including no-load/load tests, vibration analysis, and alignment checks. - Raise NCRs for deviations, follow up on corrective actions, and ensure issues are resolved before machine handover. - Maintain inspection reports, checklists, calibration records, equipment history sheets, and QC logs. - Coordinate with mining operations, maintenance teams, contractors, and OEM engineers to ensure smooth and quality execution of mechanical work.
