Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Medical Writer to join our team at Icon Pharmaceuticals, responsible for creating high-quality medical content that meets the needs of our stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical writing and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and maintain comprehensive medical documents, including clinical trial protocols, informed consent forms, and other regulatory submissions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data management, and medical affairs, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical content.
Conduct thorough reviews of medical literature to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for innovation.
Create engaging and informative medical communications that resonate with diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging trends, and changing regulations to continuously improve medical writing processes.
Mentor and guide junior writers to enhance their skills and knowledge in medical writing.

Job Requirements

Strong portfolio of medical writing samples demonstrating expertise in creating complex, high-quality medical content.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style according to audience and purpose.
In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements governing pharmaceutical development, including FDA guidelines and ICH standards.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in using authoring tools such as Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
