Job Description

Role Overview: As a Manufacturing Supervisor at Piramal Pharma Solutions (PPS), you will be responsible for supervising the manufacturing of high potency ADC/APIs in support of launched products and clinical trial programs. Your role involves supervising the manufacturing process according to defined cGMP procedures and ensuring suite readiness, monitoring, line clearance, BOM/Stock levels, sample control, and SAP inventory. You will play a key role in the introduction of new products by liaising with relevant departments and training and ensuring all team members are adequately trained. Motivating the manufacturing team to achieve schedule adherence and maintaining high standards of verbal and written communication will be crucial aspects of your role. Additionally, completing GMP documentation accurately and in real-time, upholding high SHE standards, adhering to 5s and housekeeping standards, and leading continuous progress within the manufacturing suites are key responsibilities. You will also be required to report any deviations and progress investigations and CAPAs through Trackwise and act as a deputy for the Shift Team in their absence. Key Responsibilities: - Supervising the manufacturing process according to defined cGMP procedures - Ensuring suite readiness, monitoring, line clearance, BOM/Stock levels, sample control, and SAP inventory - Playing a key role in the introduction of new products by liaising with relevant departments - Training and ensuring all team members are adequately trained - Motivating the manufacturing team to achieve schedule adherence - Maintaining high standards of verbal and written communication - Completing GMP documentation accurately and in real-time - Upholding high SHE standards and working in accordance with appropriate SHE systems - Adhering to 5s and housekeeping standards to ensure audit readiness - Reporting any deviations and progressing investigations and CAPAs through Trackwise - Leading continuous progress within the manufacturing suites - Acting as a deputy for the Shift Team in their absence Qualifications: - Degree in a scientific subject or equivalent GMP experience - Good chemical/bio-processing industry knowledge - Working knowledge of GMP - Understanding of chemical unit operations and process chemical reaction hazards - Experience of working in clean rooms (desirable) Please note that the company, Piramal Group, has pursued a strategy of both organic and inorganic growth over three decades.
