Summary Of Role
The Project Manager will be coordinating and project managing specific Finance workstreams within the SAP program, reporting into the GFS Project Management Lead. Whilst the overall project governance and reporting structure will align with the programme governance and reporting; the day-to-day responsibility of this role will sit with the Project Management Lead.He/ She will work closely with the Project Management Lead to support the planning and execution of project activities across multiple workstreams within the Finance cluster.
Key responsibilities:
Project Coordination:
- Assist the Project Lead in planning and executing across multiple workstreams
- Coordinate project activities, resources, and timelines to ensure alignment with programme deliverables
- Maintain project schedules, track progress, and update stakeholders on project status
- Monitor resource availability, workload, and adjust project plans as needed.
- Support the Project Lead in managing project budgets, including tracking expenditures and forecasting costs.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and status reports
- Prepare and present regular project updates to key stakeholder groups
- Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and stored appropriately.
Risk and Issue Management
:
- Identify potential project risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans in collaboration with the Project Lead
- Monitor and track risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle, and escalate as necessary
- Facilitate resolution of project issues and ensure appropriate actions are taken
Stakeholder & Project Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Orchestrates and manages project meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing
Required Skills & Experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented, and a structured thinker
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in digital transformation projects at global corporations (S/4HANA preferred)
- 10 yrs of experience with minimum of 3 years of experience in technical project management, with a strong technical background
- Strong project management skills with a focus on planning, execution, and delivery in technical systems
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools
- JIRA project management tool proficiency
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
