As a Senior Manager of Network Development for the OCI Network Region Build team, you will be responsible for leading the team in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable networks. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in building teams, coaching individuals, and embracing new challenges. A passion for operations and ensuring a superior customer experience is crucial for this role. The primary challenges for the team revolve around scaling the business to support exponential growth, meeting capacity and network demands of large-scale customers, dedicated cloud customers, multi-cloud expansions, and existing customer growth. Responsibilities: - Lead and manage a team of engineers specialized in networking - Support the deployment, scaling, and operations of a large-scale global Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Attract, develop, and manage a team of highly skilled engineers - Define roadmaps for delivering engineering and operational efficiencies - Develop and maintain data-driven metric programs to monitor the operational and business status of services in the physical networking domain - Collaborate with various teams including Program Management, Acquisition, DataCenter, Network Engineering, and Network Monitoring - Participate in on-call rotation for managers - Manage technical and non-technical projects Required Qualifications: - Strong understanding of network technologies, protocols, and common hardware platforms - Direct experience in cloud infrastructure and management - Leadership experience with organization planning, hiring, and performance management - Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate key metrics to senior management - Excellent attention to detail - Experience in managing technical and non-technical projects Minimum Qualifications: - Over 10 years of experience in delivering and operating large-scale, highly available network environments - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field - Experience in data center and/or service provider network environments - Proficiency in networking technologies and protocols - Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills - Experience in managing software development projects is a plus Oracle is a global leader in cloud solutions, committed to using cutting-edge technology to address current challenges.
