You will lead and chart the course for the Clinical Trial Data and Analytics (CTDA) product team, building and transforming technology capabilities that positively impact business outcomes. This role involves developing and leading a highly talented team focused on delivering innovative, high-end technologies. The ideal candidate has extensive experience leading technology-driven projects within Information Systems, particularly in building data foundations and integrating Veeva system solutions to enhance clinical operations. You will enable innovation, scalability, and operational excellence in the biotech industry by delivering seamless, efficient end-to-end solutions compliant with GxP standards. Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with Product Owners, Service Owners, and delivery teams to ensure delivery commitments are met; facilitate communication when service commitments are not fulfilled. Lead and be accountable for the Agile product team supporting CTDA capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals. Build and manage the product roadmap, driving prioritization and governance through PI planning with business leadership. Oversee Build and DevOps teams to ensure smooth development, deployment, and operational support. Design and implement robust data foundations, including new interfaces, workflows, and data models, enabling seamless clinical system integration and data reporting. Leverage AI/ML and cloud technologies to address Clinical Operations needs and shape the R&D software ecosystem vision. Develop and mentor a high-performing, diverse team; embed global ways of working across local and international contexts. Serve as a SAFe coach, mentoring teams in Agile product delivery and fostering Lean-Agile leadership culture. Maintain strategic relationships with leadership, providing updates on IS services, performance metrics, and unmet needs. Lead impact assessments for system changes; propose solutions aligned with business needs and future opportunities. Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams to ensure global operational alignment and excellence. Understand workflows, decision processes, and information needs to define business outcomes and technology solutions. Ensure rigorous testing, compliance, and successful deployment of integrations into production. Participate actively in leadership meetings; collaborate across functions to deliver high-quality, organizational results. Basic Qualifications: Master's degree with 810 years experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field OR Bachelor's degree with 1014 years experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field OR Diploma with 1418 years experience in Business, Engineering, IT, or related field Proven experience managing technology initiatives and teams with a record of successful innovation. Experience in people management, leading matrixed teams, with a passion for mentorship and talent development. Experience with data analysis, data modeling, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Spotfire). Strong business acumen with deep understanding of industry, therapy areas, and products. Preferred Qualifications Leadership experience in pharmaceutical or technology organizations. Extensive software development lifecycle experience. Experience adopting and using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Broad working knowledge of key Information Systems domains and layers. Familiarity with clinical trial regulatory requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, ICH). Expertise managing product Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), budgets, and forecasts. Experience leveraging AI/ML and cloud technologies to innovate and optimize system integrations. Professional certifications such as: ITIL (preferred) SAFe for Teams (preferred) Soft Skills Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong transformation and change management experience. Exceptional collaboration and communication skills. High initiative and self-motivation. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
