Senior Manager Index and Spot

Role Overview: At MCX, as a Senior Manager in the Index and Spot team based in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in managing the existing product suite in the commodity Index derivatives. Your responsibilities will include identifying, creating, and launching new Indices for the Index derivatives segment, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the underlying commodity Index. Additionally, you will be in charge of preparing and updating promotional material, conducting rebalancing of weights, managing committees and audits, tracking exchanges for developments, and supporting technical development for proper implementation. Your role will also involve managing the timely polling of spot prices and ensuring accurate determination of spot prices. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the existing product suite in the commodity Index derivatives. - Identify, create & launch new Indices for the Index derivatives segment. - Oversee the day-to-day operations of the underlying commodity Index. - Prepare & update promotional material such as PPTs, brochures, and other collateral. - Conduct annual/unscheduled rebalancing of weights and review of Methodology. - Manage Committees/audits and maintain necessary documentation. - Track national & international exchanges for developments in the product group. - Support necessary technical development for proper implementation. - Manage timely polling of spot prices. - Ensure proper capturing of prices from the listed Spot Polling participants via mobile app, email, or call. - Maintain timely & accurate determination of spot prices. Qualification Required: - MBA/CA/CFA/FRM with experience in the financial markets. - 10+ years of experience.
