We are currently looking for a Senior Manager to join our Eligibility Verification / Patient Access department. This role is essential for overseeing daily operations and leading a team to ensure timely and accurate prior authorizations for patient services, medications, and procedures. The manager will be responsible for developing efficient workflows, monitoring key performance indicators, ensuring compliance with payer and regulatory requirements, and serving as a key resource for staff and clinical teams. The goal is to minimize claim denials, reduce delays in patient care, and optimize the revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor daily production and ETA to achieve daily/monthly targets.- Ensure quality accuracy and provide feedback to immediate supervisors and team members.- Perform root cause analysis and offer solutions if production or quality targets are not met.- Analyze and prevent denials related to eligibility.- Work on performance dashboards and provide MIS to management.- Collaborate with the US office and address internal training requirements.- Forecast monthly volumes and request resources accordingly.
Prerequisites:- Bachelor's or master's degree is mandatory.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- Minimum of 12 years of experience in a leadership role within eligibility and authorization.- Proficient in reports and MS applications (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).- Basic knowledge of Accounts Receivables is required.- Must be available for night shifts and willing to work weekends.
