Job Description

The position of Customer Representative in the Plant requires you to be responsible for resolving Warranty/ JDP IQS/ field issues by implementing quality improvements. This involves participating in Cross Functional Teams (CFTs) and providing technical support to field for critical issues through Dealerships/Customer support to enhance customer satisfaction and JD Power IQS Score in alignment with the quality strategy. Your key responsibilities will include driving Quality Improvement through structured root cause analysis, planning and executing analysis for major quality issues, ensuring closure of issues with MBPA for supplier quality, process, and design issues. You will also be responsible for updates and periodic reviews with ERC, Current Quality, Advance Quality, Technical Services, and senior management in forums like Quality Review Meetings. Additionally, you will be involved in detailed analysis of field surveys, facilitating cross-functional teams for major JDP IQS issues resolution, and planning customer visits to understand problems as per the requirement of CFT. Monitoring and ensuring timely execution of Field Actions for Critical Issues, as well as participating in New Product Launches by identifying root causes for issues and planning actions for resolution, will also be part of your role. Furthermore, your interactions will involve stakeholders both internally and externally. Internally, you will collaborate with Customer Support and Current Quality teams. Externally, you will engage with TML Dealerships, Car owners, TML Suppliers, JD Power, JVs/Subsidiaries, and other Quality Functions. To be successful in this role, you are required to have a B.E./B.Tech degree with 5 to 8 years of experience in the Automobile OEMs Industry. Knowledge of products (vehicles, aggregates/parts and their functioning), service & field practices, problem-solving techniques, and manufacturing processes will be essential. Key skills and competencies for this role include driving execution, customer centricity, problem-solving orientation, and analytical skills.,
