Senior Manager, Applied Data Science

As a Senior Manager of Applied Data Science at Aarki, you will play a crucial role in leading a team dedicated to creating and implementing machine learning models and data pipelines to optimize the programmatic demand-side platform (DSP). Collaborating with decision science, engineering, and analytics teams, your contributions will drive impactful data science projects and innovative solutions within a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Building, nurturing, and mentoring a high-performing data science team, focusing on technical growth and long-term career development. - Spearheading the development of scalable machine learning pipelines specific to programmatic mobile advertising. - Establishing best practices for model deployment, monitoring, and performance evaluation. - Taking ownership of process improvements across the ML lifecycle. - Collaborating with teams in Bangalore and San Francisco to deploy models into production and conduct experiments. - Ensuring timely project deliveries and quick resolution of model-related issues in production environments. - Designing and managing data pipelines for efficient processing of large-scale datasets for training and evaluation. - Integrating models seamlessly into production systems with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders. - Keeping up with the latest advancements in machine learning and applying cutting-edge techniques to enhance platform capabilities. - Driving innovation by exploring and adopting new methodologies, tools, and technologies. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in data science, with a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and modeling. - More than 3 years of experience in managing teams of data scientists or ML engineers. - Proficiency in Python and SQL, with familiarity in Spark being a plus. - Expertise in ML libraries such as Scikit-Learn, LightGBM, TensorFlow, and PyTorch. - Deep understanding of probability, statistical analysis, and experimental design. - Demonstrated experience in deploying ML models into production and ensuring continuous model observability. - Excellent communication skills for effectively conveying complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. - Knowledge of RTB, auction theory, and high-throughput low-latency environments is advantageous.,
