Role & responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate book closure. Maintain general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and fixed asset accounting. Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns. Handle audits (internal, statutory, tax, and GST audits) efficiently. Liaise with tax consultants and government authorities for assessments. Monitor cash flow, working capital, and fund utilization. Ensure optimal liquidity for operations and strategic needs. Manage banking relationships and loan facilities. Monitor cost structures, identify savings opportunities, and drive cost-efficiency programs. Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team. Drive automation and digitization in finance processes.
