Senior Maintenance Programs Engineer

Role Overview: As a member of the Delta Technology Hub, you will play a crucial role in ensuring all required tasks and procedures are properly scheduled and available to the maintenance organization. Your strategic and tactical understanding will be essential in analyzing post maintenance event data to optimize intervals and create proactive approaches to identify and solve potential reliability concerns. You will be responsible for developing new programs for newly acquired aircraft and ensuring necessary maintenance tasks are completed to ensure Delta's fleet is safe, reliable, and compliant. Additionally, you will practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure proper scheduling and availability of all required tasks and procedures for the maintenance organization - Incorporate new FAR maintenance program requirements into the approved program - Analyze post maintenance event data to ensure desired results of program changes are achieved - Match non-routine findings to originating tasks to understand task effectiveness - Analyze maintenance check data, optimize intervals, and create proactive approaches for problem identification and resolution - Develop new products to produce trends and monitoring capabilities for effective task performance - Develop new programs for newly acquired aircraft and ensure completion of necessary maintenance tasks - Complete Maintenance Data Change Requests through Delta approved applications and monitor project progression - Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures Qualifications Required: - Engineering Degree (aerospace or mechanical preferred) or Airframe and Powerplant license with a minimum of three years aircraft maintenance experience - 4-10 years of relevant work experience - Technical knowledge of aircraft, understanding of aircraft manuals, technical instructions, production processes, and regulatory maintenance program requirements - Knowledge of maintaining and developing OEM qualifications of aircraft - Experience in leveraging FEA Analysis to evaluate fleet and drive solutions - Ability to develop and workflow maintenance procedures that are safe, effective, and compliant - Experience in analysis and substantiation of tasks and optimization of maintenance programs - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with minimum supervision - Task-oriented with attention to detail, well-organized, and able to prioritize work effectively - Able to coordinate workflow across multiple disciplines Additional Details (if any): Delta Air Lines is a global airline leader in safety, innovation, reliability, and customer experience.
