Role Overview: As a Senior Linux Admin at TCS, you will be responsible for managing Redhat/Suse/AIX Linux systems with a strong background in Linux/Unix administration and cloud technology. Your role will involve troubleshooting, maintenance, backup, recovery, and patching activities for multiple Linux systems. You will need to respond to alerts, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCAs), and provide technical solutions for Linux-related issues. Your responsibilities will include participating in Major incident management calls, exploring and integrating new technologies, and working in 24x7 rotational shifts. Key Responsibilities: - Minimum 6-12 years of experience in Redhat/Suse/AIX Linux systems administration - Strong technical problem-solving skills with expertise in IP networking, static routing, FTP, SSH, SMTP, DNS, HTTP/S, DHCP - Maintenance of multiple Linux systems including patching activities - Assist with Backup and Recovery of Linux OS builds and data - Respond to alerts, fix them permanently, and troubleshoot issues related to Redhat, Suse OS, and AIX servers - Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) and provide permanent fixes - Participate in Major incident management calls and provide technical solutions for Linux-related issues - Basic networking skills for troubleshooting DNS issues - Explore and integrate new technologies, transitioning operations to infrastructure as application using automation/configuration management technologies - Willingness to work in 24x7 rotational shifts - Good understanding of Cloud (AWS) services like EC2, IAM, S3, and VPC Qualifications Required: - Must have experience with AWS, Linux, RHEL, and Suse - Thorough professional with a strong work ethic and dedication to the role (Note: The job location for this position is in Hyderabad) Role Overview: As a Senior Linux Admin at TCS, you will be responsible for managing Redhat/Suse/AIX Linux systems with a strong background in Linux/Unix administration and cloud technology.
