Senior/ Lead Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer with 5 to 15 years of experience, you will be responsible for performing Structural calculations independently, leading projects, and delivering high-quality reports and drawings. Your role will involve planning and conducting independent work that requires judgement in evaluation, selection, application, and compliance with codes, standards, specifications, and criteria. You will need to devise new approaches to structural engineering problems and come up with workable solutions within budgeted hours and resources. Your strong professional communication skills will be crucial for collaborating with other engineering disciplines, sometimes across multiple offices. Key Responsibilities: - Perform Structural calculations independently - Lead projects and deliver high-quality reports and drawings - Plan and conduct independent work requiring judgement in evaluation, selection, application, and compliance with codes and standards - Devise new approaches to structural engineering problems and provide workable solutions within budgeted hours and resources - Collaborate effectively with other engineering disciplines, sometimes across multiple offices Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering from a Reputed Institution or University with Academic Excellence - Civil & Structural Engineering experience in Industrial domains such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Industry, Power Plants, or other Industrial projects is preferred - Strong knowledge of typical American codes such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, and ACI - Proficiency in structural calculation software such as STAAD, RISA3D, RISA FOUNDATION, RISA CONNECTION, LPILE, etc. - Experience in Greenfield, retrofitting & modifications projects - Ability to read, operate, and review Laser scan data and 3D models in tools like SPR, Navis Works - Knowledge of European and British standards is an added advantage - Capable of reading and interpreting geotechnical reports - Exposure to Offshore Structures is an added attribute - Drawing Preparation skills with AutoCAD is an added advantage - Strong interpersonal leadership skills for effective communication of complex issues across multiple offices and teams In your role, you will be expected to: - Perform Civil/ Structural Calculations & Report Preparation - Provide drawings for own designs & produce sketches to incorporate into the drawings by Designers - Generate multiple design options with structural feasibilities, considering site constraints and compare their cost and schedule implications - Co-ordinate closely with Lead, Designer, and multi-disciplinary teams - Check the drawings and review shop drawings - Handle, draft, organize, store, and retrieve the required inputs and outputs of the structural deliverables.,
