Senior Lead Software Engineer (Python)

• As a Senior Lead Full Stack Engineer,you will architect the highly scalable, cloud-native data platforms that power our Disease Intelligence Analytics Productscritical tools that help researchers, clinicians, scientists, and business leaders make faster, more confident decisions.
• You help build the engine behind products used to accelerate drug discovery, evaluate treatment effectiveness, model patient journeys, and bring life-saving innovations to market.

About You experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

• Bachelors/Masterdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, With 7 years of full-stack engineering experience delivering production applications.
• Strong expertisein Angular (architecture, state management, performance optimization).
• Solid hands-on experience buildingPython-based APIs (FastAPI,Flask,etc.).

• Solid hands-on experience building JAVA APIs(Springboot).

• Deep understanding of buildingscalable, cloud-native web applicationson AWS.

• Experience integratingAI/GenAI workflowsinto applications (LLMs, vector search, embeddings, model inference).

• Strong fundamentals insoftware design patterns, clean architecture, microservices, CI/CD, and DevOps.

It would be great if you also have:

• RAG pipelines,LangChain, Bedrock, OpenAI APIs

What will you be doing in this role?

• Architect front-end and back-end modules for scalable enterprise applications and Lead Angular application development with best practices around architecture, code quality, and performance.
• Design and implementJava/Python microservices and REST APIs powering AI and analytics workflows.
• Build cloud-native application components using modern AWS services and partner with AI/ML engineers to integrate GenAI capabilities into the platform.
• Build interfaces, APIs, and workflows for LLM features such as summarization, insights extraction, and intelligent search.
• Evaluate new AI technologies and recommend integration strategies.
• Drive end-to-end architecture decisions across frontend, backend, and cloud components.
• Work closely with Product, UX, Data Science, and Engineering leadership.
• Deliver features in an Agile environment with strong emphasis on quality and velocity.
