Senior Lead / Principal Engineer - Thermal Management

As an Engineer in the Engineering department, your main responsibility will be to develop compressor cooling systems, heat recovery systems, select heat exchangers, fans, and manage thermal management through modulation. You will be expected to identify and implement innovations to improve performance, quality, and cost reduction. Additionally, you will be in charge of managing resources and processes to achieve both short-term and long-term objectives effectively. Your key responsibilities will include the design and selection of Heat Exchangers, Evaporators, Condensers, Fans, and Thermal Valves. You will be required to analyze the performance of the Thermal Management System and provide feedback to the Product Development and Optimization (PDO) team. Supporting existing products and improvement activities related to thermal management will also be part of your role. It is essential to prepare and maintain documentation related to testing and results of Heat Exchangers, Evaporators, Condensers, Fans, and Thermal Valves in a systematic manner. To be successful in this role, you should hold a BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering, an M Tech in Thermal Engineering/Heat Transfer would be an added advantage. You are required to have 7 to 12 years of experience in the design and development of cooling system components. Proficiency in creating 3D models using CAD Solidworks, detailing concepts, and development involving GD&T requirements is necessary. Experience in creating 2D releases, PLM, and core expertise in designing heat exchangers are also essential. Knowledge and experience in the selection of cooling fans, coolants, testing of coolants, heat recovery systems, as well as the supplier network of cooling system components are required. Additionally, familiarity with statutory, standard, and certification requirements is expected.,
