Senior Lead Engineer Backend

As a Senior Lead Engineer at REA Group, your role will involve managing and enhancing core property data services within the Property Data Falcon team in PropTrack. You will be responsible for the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of the Property Data API Suite, incident management, and ensuring the reliability of property data services. Additionally, you will perform data processing tasks and verify data integrity. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing, testing, and documenting code according to REA Engineering standards - Leading strategic initiatives and solving complex technical problems - Providing technical mentoring and guidance to team members - Designing high-quality solutions for user needs - Supporting continuous improvement of production systems Qualifications required: - Advanced skills in designing scalable solutions - Experience with modern software development techniques - Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders - Passion for data and latest technologies - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with databases - Familiarity with TDD, CI/CD approaches, and tools Bonus points for proficiency in Typescript, experience with AWS, Google Cloud, and GraphQL.
