Senior Lead Cementing Engineer

As a Senior Lead Cementing Engineer for deepwater oil & gas projects in India, your primary responsibility will be to plan and execute well integrity and zonal isolation programs for a major international operator's ongoing multi-rig campaign. Your expertise in cementing design, fluid systems, and operational execution will be crucial for the success of drilling, completion, and workover operations offshore. Key Responsibilities: - Lead all aspects of cementing engineering from planning through execution, ensuring long-term well integrity and effective zonal isolation. - Design and optimize cementing programs to meet project objectives. - Review and evaluate cementing service proposals, laboratory test programs, and predictive simulations. - Provide on-site technical support during job execution, including real-time troubleshooting. - Evaluate post-job reports and track key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities. - Collaborate closely with well engineering, fluids, and subsea disciplines to integrate well objectives. - Ensure adherence to HSE, quality, and regulatory standards as per operator and industry requirements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering. - 15 years of experience in oilfield operations, with a focus on cementing and deepwater/HPHT projects. - Competence in cementing for DP rigs and deepwater well environments. - Proficiency in cementing design and simulation software. - Valid IWCF Well Control (Subsea Level 4) or equivalent certification. - Valid OPITO BOSIET and OGUK/DGS medical certificates. - Strong communication and leadership skills with a collaborative approach. - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and rig-based engineering software.
