Senior Lab & Manufacturing Chemist

As a Senior Lab & Manufacturing Chemist, your role involves developing prototype samples in the lab and scaling them up for production while ensuring that the product can be manufactured in larger quantities without compromising quality or performance. You will be responsible for developing and implementing processes to enhance manufacturing efficiency, improve product quality, and ensure that all products meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your duties will also include identifying and resolving production-related issues, conducting tests to assess the stability and performance of prototype samples and finished goods, and maintaining detailed records of formulations, lab trials, production batches, testing results, and deviations from standard procedures. Additionally, you will collaborate with other teams, such as R&D, quality control, and manufacturing, to ensure that products align with company objectives and comply with legal and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Develop prototype samples in the lab and scale them up for production - Develop and implement processes to improve manufacturing efficiency and increase product quality - Identify and resolve any production-related issues - Conduct tests to evaluate the stability and performance of samples and finished goods - Maintain detailed records of formulations, lab trials, production batches, testing results, and deviations - Collaborate with other teams to ensure products meet company goals and regulatory standards Qualifications Required: - B. Tech Cosmetics or equivalent qualification - 3-4 years of experience in cosmetic chemistry, formulation techniques, and manufacturing processes - Strong knowledge of GMP and other regulatory standards - Proficiency in using lab equipment, analytical instruments, and production scale-up techniques - Problem-solving skills and attention to detail in conducting experiments In this role, you will be working full-time at the company's location in Panchkula.
