Senior Java Lead

Job Summary

• Design and develop end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Define and enforce architecture principles, coding standards, and development practices.
• Lead the selection of technologies, frameworks, and tools for large-scale systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for development teams.
• Architect and oversee microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Design cloud-native applications and work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
• Create and maintain architectural documentation, technical specifications, and solution blueprints.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java and system design.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in Java and JEE technologies.
• Proven experience as a software or solution architect for large-scale applications.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system design principles.
• Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, and other Java frameworks.
• Experience with building and deploying microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), including cloud-native application design.
• Experience with API design, security (OAuth2, JWT), and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, or Gradle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.)
• Experience with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to front-end technologies (Angular, React) is a plus.
• Experience with domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture (EDA), or CQRS is advantageous.
