Senior Java Lead

Description

8+ years of experience in Java application development; including the latest 2 years (or 2 recent projects) of strong hands-on knowledge with full implementation of Elasticsearch.

Strong experience in ELK (elasticsearch, logstash and kibana) stack and Kafka broker.

Strong experience in SQL (PostgreSQL, AWS RDS) and writing complex queries with joins and aggregates.

Expert knowledge in Core Java along with Microservices architecture.

Experience with RESTful services.

Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning

Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration.

Experience with the AWS environment.

Experience with Rules Engine and/or Event driven architecture.

Experience in creating unit tests.

Excellent relationship building and communication skills; ability to interact and work effectively with all levels of personnel from senior executive management to high level technical resources and business stakeholders.

Ability to work well as a team member within a fast-paced environment, deployment cycles, and tight deadlines.

BE/BTech in Computer Science or related field

Job responsibilities

• Define, Design and develop components using Java.
• Design and develop data architecture, data definition and data manipulation structures in multiple database solutions including PostgreSQL, AWS RDS and ElasticSearch.
• Work with engineering, data team, QA and stakeholders to architect, design, and develop solutions using the ELK stack.
• Formulate and communicate technical vision and strategy to business and technical stakeholders
• Responsible for end to end software development life cycle.
• Evaluate third party software products used in the solution as needed
• Provide detailed & accurate estimates for code development efforts
• Respond quickly to changes in requirements
• Participate in Project planning, Estimation and Prepare the architectural document artifacts
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and being able to work under pressure
