As a Java Web Developer at our company, you will be responsible for developing and updating web applications for our clients. You will be part of a creative team that is focused on achieving results and works collaboratively to meet goals. Your tasks will include working on struts, spring, jsp, and frontend frameworks like angular and react. Additionally, you will provide back-up support to junior developers when required. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing Java-based web applications and other applications involving Java and JavaScript frameworks. - Maintaining and enhancing systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards. - Building reusable code and libraries for future use. - Ensuring the technical feasibility of web development. - Optimizing application performance for maximum speed and scalability. - Documenting code appropriately for maintainability. - Translating requirements into functional code. - Maintaining code quality through unit testing. - Validating all user input and securing it with best practice approaches. - Collaborating with team members and stakeholders. Key Skills required for this role: - High proficiency with Java, Spring, Struts, JSP-Servlet, JavaScript, AngularJs, or ReactJs. - Proficiency in implementing Spring or Struts based web application development. - Proficiency in developing AngularJs or ReactJs based frontend applications. - Ability to write clean, standards-compliant Java code. - Solid knowledge of web markup for HTML/HTML5, CSS/CCS3. - Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery. - Good understanding of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS and ReactJs. - Experience working with SOAP and REST endpoints. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines. - Experience with Agile development. - Solid knowledge in GIT.
