Senior Java Full Stack Developer

As a Senior Java Full Stack Developer at Barclays, you will lead the innovation and enhancement of the digital landscape, focusing on backend services using Spring Boot and ReactJS. Your role will involve developing robust, scalable applications to ensure an exceptional user experience. To excel in this role, you should have extensive hands-on experience with Java 8, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, and Hibernate. Your proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services will be crucial. Experience with React JS and JavaScript is also required. Candidates with additional skills in AWS, CI/CD (Jenkins, TeamCity), and previous experience in the financial services industry will be preferred. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and enhancing software solutions utilizing various engineering methodologies. Collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to align software requirements with business objectives is essential. You will also participate in code reviews, promote code quality, and stay updated on industry technology trends.
