Senior - Java FS

You will be a part of Lighthouse, KPMG's Big Data, AI & Analytics practice, where you will be responsible for developing scalable and distributed systems using core Java. Your role will involve collaborating effectively across global teams, building RESTful APIs, creating responsive UI using modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React, and deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably GCP. Your strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design will be crucial. Additionally, working with SQL for data retrieval, transformation, and analysis, along with experience in agile software development lifecycle, are key aspects of this role. Your responsibilities will include: - Minimum 4-6 years of experience in developing scalable and distributed systems using core Java - Proficiency in collaborating effectively across global teams - Hands-on experience with Spring and building RESTful APIs - Proficient in creating responsive UI using modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular and React - Exposure to deploying applications on cloud platforms, preferably GCP - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns - Proficient in SQL for data retrieval, transformation, and analysis - Experience with agile software development lifecycle - Familiarity with multi-dimensional data, data curation processes, and data quality improvement - Basic knowledge of business processes, data flows, and quantitative models - Ability to think independently, embrace challenges, and adapt to new technologies - Knowledge of big data frameworks such as Spark is a plus - Proficiency in working with microservices architecture - Knowledge of cloud-native development practices and serverless computing - Understanding of security best practices in application development and deployment - Ability to optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a distributed environment - Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for infrastructure as code Qualifications required: - Engineering Grad / Postgraduate - GCP Professional Data Engineering / Machine Learning certification would be a plus - Relevant Experience: 4+ years,
