Senior Java Engineer(Apache Kafka + Camel)(Location Gurgaon)

As a Senior Java Integration Engineer with over 6 years of experience, your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain robust integration flows using Apache Camel. You will design and implement services using Java 8+, Spring, and Spring Boot. Additionally, you will work on RESTful and SOAP-based APIs for internal and external system communication. Your role will involve handling Apache Kafka setup for producer/consumer and stream processing. You will also be responsible for performing file-based integrations and SMTP/mail integrations as required. Utilizing Postman for API testing and validation will be a key part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with DevOps teams for deployments using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift will also be expected. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java (8 or above) and Spring Boot. In-depth knowledge of Apache Camel for system integration is essential for this role. Proficiency in Apache Kafka (producer, consumer, stream processing), experience with REST APIs and SOAP web services, and familiarity with file-based integrations and email protocols (SMTP) are required skills. Exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/OpenShift is a plus.
