Senior Java Engineer with 4-8 years of experience

Responsibilities

As a senior member of our team at TechXSherpa, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable and performant systems, leveraging modern Java and Spring technologies. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  Java/Spring Boot microservices

  with scalability and performance in mind.
• Build and optimize

  event-driven systems leveraging Apache Kafka

  .
• Work with

  AWS cloud services

  (EC2, RDS, S3, ECS/EKS, etc.) for deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
• Develop and consume

  RESTful APIs ensuring security, reliability, and high throughput

  .
• Utilize

  RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)

  for data modeling and persistence.
• Apply

  Docker and containerization

  best practices to streamline development and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, testing, CI/CD, and performance optimization.

Requirements

Experience:

• 4 to 8 years

  of hands-on development experience with

  Java

  and the

  Spring Framework

  .

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in

  Java 8+

  and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security).
• Solid understanding of

  microservices architecture and event-driven design

  .
• Experience with relational databases like

  PostgreSQL

  ,

  MySQL

  , or

  Oracle

  , including ORM tools like

  Hibernate

  or

  JPA

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  RESTful API design

  and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with

  Apache Kafka

  for real-time streaming/event processing.
• Familiarity with Git for version control.
• Exposure to

  AWS Cloud Services

• Knowledge of
