Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, with proven expertise in building scalable, high-performance microservices-based applications using Spring Boot.

This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for clean code, and a deep understanding of backend system design principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, QA, DevOps, and product owners to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Participate in the complete software development lifecycle: requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices through code reviews and unit testing.
Implement and manage API integrations and third-party services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and non-production environments.
Contribute to continuous improvement by exploring alternative technologies and approaches.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

6+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate.
Extensive experience in Microservices architecture and design patterns.
Good understanding of RESTful API design and development.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is advantageous.
Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Exposure to agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Working knowledge of API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
