Senior Java Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Java Architect to play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of scalable platforms utilizing Spring Boot and React. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional technical prowess coupled with the ability to engage effectively with clients, translating business requirements into viable technical solutions within the banking domain. As the Java Architect, you will be tasked with architecting, designing, and developing highly scalable and resilient platforms utilizing Java and Spring Boot. Your role will involve spearheading the development of full-stack applications featuring a React-based frontend. Moreover, you will collaborate closely with clients to grasp their requirements and offer innovative technical solutions. Overseeing the entire software development lifecycle will be a key responsibility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions. Providing technical guidance to development teams, conducting code reviews, and enforcing best practices will be essential in this role. Your expertise will be integral in leading architecture discussions and decisions to ensure that the platform aligns with business objectives and meets technical requirements. It will be crucial to guarantee the scalability, performance, and security of the platform by implementing best practices. Acting as a technical bridge between the development team and clients will be vital to ensure that business objectives are effectively met. Additionally, driving the adoption of new technologies and methodologies that resonate with the company's strategic goals will be part of your mandate. Troubleshooting complex issues and ensuring timely resolutions, as well as collaborating with stakeholders like product managers to define project scopes and timelines, will be among the responsibilities you will handle. Required skills for this role include a minimum of 10-14 years of software development experience with Java, strong proficiency in Kafka for designing and optimizing scalable systems, extensive familiarity with Spring Boot for constructing large-scale backend services, and solid hands-on experience with React for frontend development. You should also possess a robust understanding of platform architecture, distributed systems design, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, containerization, orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ, and databases like NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) and RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Prior experience in client-facing roles and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions are highly valued. Optional skills that would be advantageous include knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, a good grasp of security best practices in software architecture, prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments, and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. In addition to technical skills, soft skills are equally important for this role. Excellent communication skills, both for technical and non-technical stakeholders, a client-focused mindset, leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are significant attributes that we are looking for. Educational requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Java architecture or related technologies, such as Spring certifications, are considered a plus.,
