Senior iOS Developer - Healthcare Tech Apps

As a Senior iOS Developer at Ajmera Infotech Private Limited (AIPL) in Ahmedabad, your role will involve shaping mobile experiences that save lives by building FDA-compliant, SwiftUI-first apps for a billion-dollar health-tech platform. Your code will run on iPhones and iPads used daily by clinicians and patients worldwide, playing a crucial role in developing software that simply cannot fail. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, build, and maintain high-performance iOS apps in Swift, with a focus on SwiftUI. - Lead migration from UIKit to SwiftUI and implement MVVM / Clean Architecture patterns. - Integrate REST/gRPC services, WebSockets, and Bluetooth Low Energy devices. - Optimize for battery, memory, accessibility, and security. - Write unit, UI, and integration tests; promote TDD and CI/CD practices. - Conduct code reviews, mentor mid-level engineers, and ensure adherence to style guidelines. - Collaborate with design, backend, and QA teams to achieve sprint goals and compliance artifacts. - Contribute to the mobile release pipeline, App Store deliverables, and post-release monitoring. **Qualifications Required:** - 5-8 years of iOS development experience, with at least 3 years in Swift and strong SwiftUI component knowledge. - Production experience with SwiftUI and Combine. - Proficiency in MVVM, Core Data, Core Bluetooth, URLSession / gRPC, and Background Tasks. - Strong skills in unit/UI testing (XCTest, XCUITest) and static analysis tools (SwiftLint, Sonar). - Familiarity with App Store submission, TestFlight, phased release, and crash analytics platforms like Firebase Crashlytics and Sentry. - Solid understanding of Git, code review processes, and Agile-Scrum methodology. In addition to the technical skills, exposure to medical, fintech, or other regulated domains would be a plus. Experience with Flutter or React Native is considered a nice-to-have.
