Description
Roles: Lead and oversee interior design projects from concept to execution. Understand client requirements, preferences, and budget constraints. Optimize layouts and functionality for modular furniture solutions. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and production teams. Choose suitable materials, finishes, and modular furniture products. Ensure timely delivery and quality control of projects. Provide detailed drawings, 3D models, and BOQ for execution. Stay updated with industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices. Work closely with vendors for procurement and installation. Ensure adherence to safety, ergonomic, and industry standards. Responsibilities: Develop innovative and functional modular furniture designs. Guide junior designers and review their work for quality and feasibility. Present design concepts and mood boards to clients. Manage cost estimates and project budgets. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design execution aligns with plans. Provide solutions for space constraints, modular adaptability, and customization. Maintain documentation, drawings, and reports for projects. Qualifications: Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design Experience & Skills: 3+ years of experience in interior design, specifically in modular furniture and space planning. Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, and production processes related to modular furniture. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, and other design software . Expertise in ergonomics, space optimization, and sustainable design principles. Strong project management and leadership skills to handle multiple projects. Ability to collaborate with architects, engineers, and production teams . Knowledge of market trends, client preferences, and customization in modular furniture . Soft Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills . Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities . Ability to manage teams, mentor junior designers, and coordinate with stakeholders . Creativity and an eye for detail in aesthetics and functionality.
