Senior Indirect Tax

The firm is committed to upholding the highest standards of audit quality, enhancing employee experience, and embracing technological advancements. **Key Responsibilities** - Assist the team during new client pitches and assignments with existing clients - Understand client requirements for advisory and compliance services - Aid in preparing detailed scope of work proposals - Support the team in completing risk processes before engagements - Provide advisory services by analyzing facts, reviewing research, understanding tax implications, and preparing opinions - Prepare and review tax computations and periodic GST returns - Ensure timely delivery of advisory and compliance services - Assist in VAT/Service Tax/GST Audits or Assessments, including document review, liaising with clients and tax authorities, submission, and closure of audits/assessments - Support the team in litigation matters by understanding notices/orders, researching, drafting/reviewing replies/appeals, and liaising with stakeholders - Communicate Indirect tax updates to clients and the team regularly - Guide and advise the team on Indirect tax concepts - Participate in training sessions as both trainer and trainee - Ensure quality deliverables within specified timelines, including formatting and content - Assist seniors in practice management related to client billing and receivables tracking **Qualifications Required** - Qualified CA **Skills Required** - Strong analytical ability - Excellent communication and presentation skills - Client relationship management - Team player - Experience in Indirect tax litigation is an added advantage (Note: The section providing additional details about B S R & Co.
