Senior Hardware Design Engineer & Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Hardware Design Engineer who will also take on the responsibility of leading a team of hardware engineers. In this role, you will not only be responsible for designing and developing hardware solutions but will also provide leadership and guidance to a team to ensure project success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in schematic and PCB design, with proficiency in tools such as Altium.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of hardware engineers in understanding and translating design requirements into hardware solutions encompassing digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and establish hardware design requirements and specifications for various projects.
• Design and develop complex hardware solutions, including schematic diagrams and PCB layouts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
• Oversee the testing, verification, and validation of hardware designs to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with project objectives.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts to address hardware issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Manage relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and advancements in hardware design methodologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Extensive experience in hardware design, with a focus on digital, analog, and mixed-signal designs.
• Proficiency in schematic and PCB design tools, with preferred experience in Altium.
• Strong leadership skills with proven experience in leading and managing a team of hardware engineers.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while leading a team to achieve project objectives.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
