Senior Golang Developer

As a Senior Golang Developer at our Digital Solutions team, you will play a crucial role in designing complex modules, critical components, and whole applications/products. You will have the vision to integrate these solutions across multiple systems, working independently as a technical leader. Your responsibilities will include driving design and development efforts related to architecture, scalability, availability, and performance in alignment with the product/application roadmap. Your key responsibilities as a Senior Golang Developer will include: - Demonstrating expertise in Design, Architecture, Development, Continuous Integration, and Delivery, with the ability to delve deep into the implementation process. - Being a subject matter expert in processes and methodologies, adapting and improvising in various situations. - Navigating through ambiguity, prioritizing conflicting technical requests, and influencing technical decisions within engineering and product teams. - Implementing core data structures, algorithms, and coding standards using the language of choice. - Defining and enforcing coding and design standards, secure development practices, performance expectations, internationalization, and managing CI/CD pipelines. - Applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring, and testing techniques. To excel in this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). - A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Golang development. - Experience in AWS cloud and its services, along with good coding experience in design patterns and coding standards. - Experience working with Relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NonRelational DBs (MongoDB). - Technical design and architecture creation experience would be an advantage. - Experience in leading technical teams, governance, code reviews, and delivery would be beneficial.
