Senior Functional Consultant - SAP BI

Role Overview: As a member of the SAP BI team at KSB Tech Pune, you will collaborate closely with KSB SE KGaA IT and Global Process Owners for SAP BI/BW. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the entire SAP BW life cycle processes. This includes gathering requirements, designing solutions, implementing, testing, preparing documentation, and providing support. You will have the opportunity to work in an international environment involving teams in Germany and India. Additionally, you will participate in exciting and innovative projects, including the implementation of your own projects in SAP BW, SAP BO, and SAP HANA. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct requirements analysis in collaboration with the Business Department - Perform data extraction and real-time consumption using SDA/CDS - Develop reports, applications, and authorizations - Test, approve, and ensure quality assurance with a focus on process optimizations - Document applications and processes effectively - Support the BI team in implementing system changes in SAP BW and SAP BO - Ensure the operability of SAP BW on HANA and SAP BO - Handle incidents, service requests, and authorization tasks efficiently - Provide support to SAP BW/BO users globally Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering - Strong experience in SAP BW, SAP BO, and SAP HANA - Proficiency in requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, and testing - Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Knowledge of data extraction methods and real-time consumption techniques - Experience in creating reports, applications, and authorizations in SAP BW - Ability to ensure the operability of SAP BW on HANA and SAP BO - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Previous experience in supporting SAP BW/BO users will be an advantage Note: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.,
