Senior Frontend Wordpress Developer

As a skilled WordPress Frontend Developer at E2M, you will play a crucial role in implementing attractive and functional websites for our digital agency clients. Your responsibilities will include implementing WordPress themes and plugins, site integration, security updates, and ensuring high performance and availability of websites. You will be tasked with establishing and guiding the websites" architecture, implementing new features and functionality, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Additionally, you will help formulate effective, responsive designs and transform them into working themes and plugins. Collaboration with back-end developers for coding and troubleshooting will also be part of your role. To excel in this position, you should have a good understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. Experience in building user interfaces for websites and web applications, developing responsive design websites, and working with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome Inspector is essential. You must be able to convert layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages, ensure consistent styles across platforms, and understand CSS changes and their implications. Proficiency in interacting with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML), UI layouts, SASS, LESS, Bootstrap, and the CSS GRID system is required. Knowledge of code versioning tools like Git, SVN, and Mercurial, as well as understanding of PHP back-end development and WordPress structure and plugins, are essential. Experience with WooCommerce projects, WordPress multi-network and multi-lingual sites, and 3rd party integrations on WordPress sites is highly valued. The ideal candidate for this role should possess experience working with a diverse set of themes like X-Theme, Astra, Avada, Bridge, Divi, Engage, GeneratePress.
