Overview Of 73 Strings 73 Strings is an innovative platform providing comprehensive data extraction, monitoring, and valuation solutions for the private capital industry The company's AI-powered platform streamlines middle-office processes for alternative investments, enabling seamless data structuring and standardization, monitoring, and fair value estimation at the click of a button 73 Strings serves clients globally across various strategies, including Private Equity, Growth Equity, Venture Capital, Infrastructure and Private Credit Our 2025 $55M Series B, the largest in the industry, was led by Goldman Sachs, with participation from Golub Capital and Hamilton Lane, with continued support from Blackstone, Fidelity International Strategic Ventures and Broadhaven Ventures About The Role We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer who is passionate about crafting seamless, performant, and delightful user experiences As a core member of the engineering team, you will lead the development of modern web applications, working closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers You will play a pivotal role in shaping our frontend architecture, optimizing performance, and driving UI/UX excellence This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks, with strong product intuition and a commitment to clean, scalable code Key Responsibilities Architect, build, and maintain complex, high-performance web applications using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript (ES6+) Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality Lead and influence frontend architecture decisions to support scalability, maintainability, and performance Translate product and design specs into clean, reusable, and accessible UI components Drive frontend performance optimization, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility Implement secure coding practices and data handling on the client side Mentor junior frontend developers and uphold code quality through reviews and best practices Stay current with evolving frontend technologies, tools, and trends Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field from a top-tier Indian institution (IITs, BITS Pilani, IIITs, IISc, etc) is mandatory Minimum 7 years of hands-on frontend development experience in a production environment Deep expertise in Reactjs, with solid experience in TypeScript and functional component architecture (hooks, context API, etc) Strong understanding of modern frontend build systems and tooling (Webpack, Babel, ESLint, etc) Experience with state management solutions like Redux, Recoil, or Zustand Skilled in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design methodologies Familiarity with component libraries (e-g, Material UI, Tailwind, Chakra UI) and design systems Experience with frontend testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) is a plus Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team and work in an agile environment Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills Why Join Us Work on high-impact features used by thousands (or millions) of users Collaborate with a passionate, elite team of engineers and designers Be part of a fast-growing company that values quality, autonomy, and innovation Competitive compensation and clear growth path We cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration, where your ideas matter We empower our team members to take initiative, learn continuously, and thrive in a supportive environment
