Description
Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the company's data sources, systems, and processes. Collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and define reporting requirements and KPIs that align with business objectives will also be a key part of your role. In addition, you will design, develop, and implement efficient and accurate reporting solutions using a variety of tools and technologies such as PeopleSoft, Excel, SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, and BI platforms. You will be gathering data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and integrity, and performing data validation and cleansing as necessary. Creating and automating MIS reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making will also be a part of your responsibilities. Analyzing trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to identify opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency will be crucial. You will be monitoring and tracking key metrics, comparing actual performance against targets, and proactively communicating findings to relevant stakeholders. Conducting ad-hoc data analysis and preparing custom reports as requested by management or other departments will also be part of your duties. It is important to stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in MIS reporting, data analytics, and business intelligence tools. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. - Proven work experience of 5-10 years as an MIS Reporting Specialist, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role. - Strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and Business Intelligence platforms like Tableau and Power BI. - Solid understanding of data structure and experience working with large datasets. - Familiarity with data visualization principles and the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. - Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking ability.,
