Senior Experience Designer

As an Experience Designer at Slingshot Games, you will be an integral part of the team working on new features for Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, the top-grossing mobile game and the most successful Star Wars game ever released. You will play a key role in creating exceptional player experiences on mobile platforms by designing user interfaces that impact every aspect of the product. Collaboration with artists, game designers, development directors, and producers will be essential to prioritize design elements and achieve balanced solutions that align with player, business, and technical objectives. Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with cross-functional teams, such as engineers, to ensure that your designs are not only innovative but also technically feasible within existing frameworks. You will be involved in conceptualizing, wireframing, and prototyping designs while incorporating research insights and team feedback to deliver optimal results. Upholding UX and UI guidelines, design principles, and best practices will be a key focus, along with advocating for design excellence, accessibility, and usability. To excel in this role, you should possess a high level of proficiency in Figma, particularly in working with design systems and adhering to established best practices. With at least 5 years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, or a related field, you will bring expertise in implementing designs using the Unity game engine. A strong portfolio showcasing shipped products, familiarity with mobile game design principles, and a willingness to immerse yourself in gameplay experiences will be crucial for success. Additionally, experience with motion graphics tools like After Effects and familiarity with the character collector RPG genre are considered advantageous.
