Senior Enterprise Services Engineer

As a Senior Enterprise Services Engineer at Meridian, you will be responsible for developing and administering Power BI tools to transform raw data into valuable insights through visually appealing dashboards and reports. Your role will involve utilizing your analytical skills and excellent communication abilities to effectively convey information. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and administer Power BI tools - Build Analysis Services reporting models - Create visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop - Connect to data sources, import data, and transform data for Business Intelligence - Implement row-level security on data and understand application security layer models in Power BI - Make DAX queries in Power BI desktop and use advanced level calculations on the data set - Design methodology, project documentation, and develop tabular and multidimensional models - Develop, publish, and schedule Power BI reports as per business requirements - Understand business requirements and develop data models accordingly - Prototype, design, and analyze requirements using secondary tools such as Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, PolyBase, Visual Studio, etc. - Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics like Power BI service (SaaS) or by API automation - Develop custom visuals for Power BI - Perform other assigned duties Qualifications and Requirements: - 8+ years" experience as a technical IT resource - 5+ years supporting or delivering in an enterprise-level environment - 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS - 3 to 4 years of experience working with a self-service tool, preferably Power BI or Tableau - Prior experience in data-related tasks - Mastery in data analytics and proficient in software development - Familiarity with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies such as SSRS, TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX - Capable of enabling row-level data security and understanding Power BI application security layer models - Ability to run DAX queries on Power BI desktop and perform advanced-level computations on the data set - Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate needs with clients and internal teams,
