Job Description

As a Senior Engineering Manager for the Identity and Access Management team at Rippling, you will play a crucial role in leading the team to develop cutting-edge identity and access management solutions for companies globally. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving product delivery, enforcing engineering best practices, and overseeing the design and implementation of complex distributed systems. - Leading a team of passionate software engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and impact. - Creating a culture that prioritizes meeting expectations and delivering value. - Being hands-on in technical architecture and reviews. - Defining the technology roadmap for the team and collaborating with business teams and product managers to shape business OKR planning. - Helping the organization scale and grow with the business. - Driving automated solutions to enhance efficiency and process improvement. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - At least 12+ years of experience in software development and delivery, with a strong understanding of software architectures. Additionally, you must have at least 3+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager leading development teams. - Strong engineering skills, including experience in distributed systems design, with a focus on enhancing code structure and architecture for improved testability and maintainability. - Team development skills, such as setting roadmaps and goals for the team, offering engineering advice, delivering transparent feedback, and fostering career growth for team members. - Excellent project management skills, product ownership mindset, customer-centric approach, and problem-solving abilities. - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
