Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 and applicable industry standards.
Review and approve quality-related documentation such as QAPs, ITPs, WPS, PQRs, and NDT reports.
Inspect raw materials, in-process, and final products to ensure conformance to design and quality specifications.
Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to resolve quality issues.
Prepare and maintain records of inspections, test results, and quality deviations.
Support NCR (Non-Conformance Report) processes, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Conduct internal audits and support external audits (ISO/API/Customer audits).
Monitor and report key quality KPIs such as defect rates, rework, and rejection analysis.
Ensure calibration and maintenance of quality inspection equipment and gauges.
Develop and train shop floor staff in QA procedures and inspection techniques.

Required Qualifications:

Diploma/B. E in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
5 - 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a valve or similar manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of valve standards: API 6D, API 600, ASME B16.34, etc.
Familiarity with materials standards (ASTM), NDT processes, and welding standards.
Certification in ISO 9001:2015 (Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor) preferred.
Exposure to third-party inspections and documentation for PED/IBR/CE marking is an added advantage.
