Senior Engineer - Process Automation (AB PLC Wonder Intouch)

As a Senior Automation Engineer with AB PLC Wonder Intouch experience at Wood India Consulting division, your primary responsibility will be to design and select components, supervise the build process, and support the implementation of automation controls projects. You will work alongside a team of multi-discipline experts on exciting projects for high-profile clients within Woods Digital Consulting business. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and define the Automation AB PLC Wonder Intouch requirements and solutions for clients - Implement the defined automation solutions using AB PLC Wonder Intouch - Support the Lead Engineer in achieving project objectives - Apply integration concepts to various systems and across multiple vendor platforms - Engineer technical aspects of automation project design and implementation - Implement hardware design activities and prepare engineering studies, design drawings, and specifications - Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes, and standards Qualifications Required: - Prior experience and competency in Automation Engineering - Experience in creating hardware documents and drawings using design software such as Eplan, Autocad, Promis-e - Proficiency in AB PLC Wonder Intouch - Detailed experience with multiple system implementation project platforms - Knowledge of hardware specification and design of PLC systems and hardwired Safety Systems - Experience in creating hardware installation documents - Familiarity with modern automation and control applications, tools, methodologies, or equivalent training/experience - Good working knowledge of current industry-specific technology and safety requirements - Inquisitive, well-organized, and detail-oriented Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's or master's degree in an engineering discipline - Experience with Brownfield upgrades/replacement automation and control projects - Prior on-site experience is advantageous Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, dedicated to addressing critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
