Senior Engineer Power Electronics

As a Senior Engineer in Power Electronics at Mak Controls, you will have the opportunity to work hands-on with sophisticated and rare systems. Your role will involve leading the design activity of various high-power Battery Chargers, DC-DC Converters, Rectifiers, SMPS, OP-AMP, and Motor Drivers. It is essential to have experience in magnetic design of converter components and a thorough understanding of Analog circuit design, Thermal modeling of power electronic devices, heat sink design/calculation, EMI, and EMC. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design activity of various high-power Battery Chargers, DC-DC Converters, Rectifiers, SMPS, OP-AMP, and Motor Drivers - Mandatory magnetic design of converter components - Thorough understanding of Analog circuit design, Thermal modeling, heat sink design/calculation, EMI, and EMC - Preferable experience in Schematic design, Simulation/analysis, PCB layout guidance/verification, Prototype testing - Developing Electronics hardware from paper to prototype, alternate design analysis, POC evaluations, and documenting - Create detailed design documents with EMI/EMC consideration, Component Tolerance, de-rating calculations - Validate design for high reliability and robustness, conduct Functional and Compliance Testing - Knowledge in using Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Network analyzer, and power supplies, Full bridge topologies, understanding of MOSFET - Male candidate is preferable, should be able to handle a team of 5 to 10 employees Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BE EEE/ECE) - 8 to 10 years of experience in the field of Power Electronics If you are looking to join a successful team where you can contribute your valuable skills and experience, Mak Controls welcomes your application.
