Senior Engineer - Piping Materials

As an Engineer at this company, you will be an integral part of the hierarchical organization, reporting directly to the Head of the Department as your direct discipline superior. In a project execution environment, your primary responsibility will be to efficiently execute the work packages of the Discipline that have been assigned to you. You will also assist the Discipline project Lead Engineer in delivering the work within the contractual framework, maintaining quality, meeting schedules, and ensuring overall cost-effectiveness to achieve the desired results of the project. **Key Responsibilities:** - Execute all tasks in compliance with the Discipline Manual and Job Manual to ensure the implementation of all contractual requirements. - Ensure high quality of deliverables for the design work. - Complete allocated tasks within the allotted man-hours and schedule dates. - Contribute to the on-time quality review of Inter-discipline documents and vendor deliverables. - Implement safety-relevant principles, standards, rules, and procedures. - Implement lessons learned identified for the assigned projects. - Support technical procurement activities for various types of equipment. - Review and approve Vendor documents applicable to the Discipline. - Attend inspections as required by the Inspection department. - Provide site assistance by responding to site queries. **HSE, QA/QC Responsibilities:** - Execute applicable scope of work in compliance with the requirements of the HSE Management System and IMS for the discipline/project. - Prepare, check, and approve documentation according to the Project Quality Plan and ensure it is ready for release by the respective Lead Engineer. - Provide necessary input to the lessons learned process/capitalization and best engineering practices. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: MTech / ME, B.Tech / BE in Mechanical Engineering - Work Experience: Experience in EPC or Detail design engineering company in the engineering discipline for execution of projects in various sectors like Oil & Gas, Energy, Refining, Petrochemicals. **Additional Company Details:** At Air Liquide, diversity and inclusion are core values that shape our workplace culture.
