Senior Engineer - Perception Systems

As a Senior Engineer - Perception Systems at Rebhu Computing, your role will involve leading the design and development of high-performance perception modules for next-generation robotic systems. You will have the opportunity to architect end-to-end perception systems, integrate various perception modules with robotic platforms, and optimize real-time computer vision and sensor fusion stacks. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping the technical direction of the team and ensuring successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Architect end-to-end perception systems including data acquisition, preprocessing pipelines, inference engines, and deployment. - Oversee the integration of perception modules (CV, LiDAR, radar, thermal, etc.) with robotic platforms. - Drive performance optimization of real-time computer vision and sensor fusion stacks. - Mentor junior engineers and support the technical growth of the team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams across embedded systems, AI, and robotics. - Set standards for code quality, testing, and continuous integration. - Lead technical decision-making and milestone planning for perception deliverables. - Define role requirements, conduct technical interviews, and contribute to building a world-class perception team. - Help shape the engineering culture through thoughtful hiring and mentoring. Qualifications Required: Must-Have: - 5+ years of experience in computer vision, sensor fusion, or robotics perception. - Proficiency in C++ and/or Python for real-time systems. - Strong experience with OpenCV, ROS, TensorRT, or similar frameworks. - Hands-on experience deploying models on embedded or edge platforms (e.g., Jetson, Xavier, Coral). - Deep understanding of camera models, calibration, and real-time data processing. Nice-to-Have: - Experience with SLAM, multi-sensor fusion, or 3D vision pipelines. - Familiarity with embedded Linux, GStreamer, or low-latency video pipelines. - Prior leadership, mentoring, or hiring experience.
