Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Engineer Metallurgy based in Chakan. The Senior Engineer will oversee metallurgical processes, ensure quality control in the production of forged and machined components, and conduct material testing and analysis. The position involves collaborating with production teams, troubleshooting metallurgical issues, and developing new materials and processes to enhance product performance and reliability.

Qualifications

Qualification:  Diploma /B. E Metallurgy or B.E. Mechanical                                                                                                                                                                           

Experience: -   2-6 Yrs. Exp as aluminium Forging heat treatment area

Candidate having knowledge & experience of tests & analysis of Raw material, Forged part, Heat treated -solution treatment and Aging heat treatment of auto component parts.

Knowledge of 1) Surface hardness,2) Core hardness,3) Microstructure,4) Inclusions in material,

5) Chemical composition,6) Grain flow,7) Grain size,8) Crack test

Knowledge of aluminium grade, Aluminium heat treatment process-T4/T6 , Aluminium testing etc.
